Hello my name is Kayode Sunday Abiodun Odedina and I am from
Ijofin, Ipokia
Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria.
I was born into the family of Mr Bolarinwa Suleiman Odedina
and Mrs. Rebecca Ajoke Adedayo Odedina. My two parents were Primary
School teachers at the time of my birth. My late father eventually
retired as Vice Principal, Iko Gateway Grammar School, Ikolaje, Idi-Iroko
border town, Ipokia Local Government Area, Ogun State, Nigeria.

I obtained my primary school leaving certificate at St.
John's (Anglican) Primary School, Kuto Abeokuta in June 1973.

I had my secondary school education at Rev. Kuti Memorial
Grammar School, Abeokuta and came out with Div. 11 in 1978 GCE O'Level/WASC.

I attended Comprehensive High School, Ayetoro for my HSC
where I offered Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I completed the A'level
program in June 1980.

I am an Engineer by Profession. I hold a Masters degree in
Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Specialized in Telecommunication
Systems Engineering). I am a Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE)
and that of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), UK

I am an ICT practitioner (My strength is in Network design,
implementation and Consulting). I hold six ICT certifications: MCP, MCP+I,
MCSE, CCNA, CCDA & HP Professional AIS OV (NNM1). I am also a Member
of Nigeria Computer Society (MNCS)

I am a Civil Servant and an Administrator. I hold an MBA
(with emphasis on Technology Policy and Management). I presently work as a Chief Hardware Engineer with National Universities Commission (NUC),
Abuja, Nigeria.

I am married to Folakemi Idowu Odedina (nee Oluwatomiloye) with three
Children: Omolade, Damilola & Okikioluwamikan.

One terminal aspiration that I have in life is to run a pre-nursery,
nursery, primary and secondary school. The intention is to use my personal
experience to build a pool of top-flight researchers from the cradle. The
tools required to achieve this abound. My wife is also a secondary school
teacher.
